This is a unique UK-market "Boots" department store edition, featuring Boots branding proudly displayed on the lid and including its matching Boots-branded external passive speakers. True to this early 70s collaboration, the turntable chassis itself was made in Holland, while the internal mechanicals were engineered by Philips in Germany. Please note: this unit is a deck/loudspeaker combo that does not have a built-in amplifier; you will need to connect it to an external amplifier or receiver to power the speakers and hear audio.

- The unit does not fully switch off when plugged into the mains. It requires turning off at the wall outlet or unplugging to kill power completely. It has stopped a few times during testing.
- Mechanism Fault: The automatic operation buttons are troublesome and intermittent. They do not always work or engage correctly.
- Working Functions: Aside from the automatic cycle, the manual rest of the functions work perfectly. The motor spins well, and all four speeds select and run successfully.
- Cosmetic Condition: The plastic lid with the Boots logo has typical vintage scuffs but no cracks. The cabinet and speakers show light age-related wear. Please see all high-resolution photos for an exact look.
