Rare Siemens vintage speaker cable – approx. 18.5 meters – late 1940s – authentic audiophile sound

Offered here is an exceptionally rare and historically significant speaker cable manufactured by Siemens, dating back to the late 1940s. Finding original cables of this type in such length and preserved condition has become extremely difficult today.

The cable features two conductors, each with a diameter of approx. 1.0 mm (equivalent to about AWG 18). The finely stranded copper conductors are insulated with traditional cotton, combined with a flexible outer rubber jacket – a construction known for both its durability and its distinctive sonic character.

Remarkably, the cable has retained very good flexibility despite its age and can still be handled and installed with ease. Cables of this type were also used in conjunction with classic Eurodyn amplifiers, making it especially appealing for historically accurate restorations.

In terms of sound, this cable delivers a warm, natural, and highly musical presentation – particularly well suited for tube amplifiers and vintage hi-fi systems where tonal authenticity matters.

Very good vintage condition. Only a small section shows minimal insulation damage (see photo), with no impact on functionality.
