Classic Roberts Rambler portable radio in a traditional brown finish with chrome grille.
A lovely vintage British radio with that unmistakable Roberts styling.
This example has been converted to a modern 9V battery setup, making it far more practical to use than the original battery system.
The radio has been tested and is working, picking up stations on MW and LW.
Condition:
Good vintage condition overall.
Some cosmetic wear including marks and scuffs to the casing (see photos).
Top control panel shows age-related wear/pitting to the knobs.
Internally clean and fitted with modern 9V battery box.
Strap loose on one side.
