You’re bidding on a Lot of Six (6) vintage Korean War photos several crewmen aboard the USS Rochester (CA-124). The annotations on back of the photos provide some identification of the men.

I obtained these 3-1/4” x 4-3/4” photos with a group of photos taken near Wonsan and Hungnam, Korea, in December 1950. Five are in very good condition and one has a missing clip in the bottom right corner.

I’m sure, with a bit more research, the complete identities of the crewmen should be available.

Here’s some USS Rochester Info:

Laid down May 29, 1944, by Bethlehem Steel Co. in Quincy, MA; launched Aug 28, 1945. It was an Oregon City-class cruiser, an improvement on the Baltimore class featuring a single funnel. Commissioned Dec 20, 1946.

She served primarily in the Pacific, operating with Carrier Task Force 77 during the Korean War. Provided naval gunfire support for UN forces, including the Inchon landings, Wonsan, and Songjin in 1950.
