The microscope is built with the Simul-Focal system, which allows simultaneous observation through both eyepieces and camera.

As with all stereoscopic microscopes, the magnification range of the camera (an optional retrofit is available) and that of the eyepiece differ: the camera is about 80-120X as standard, while observation through the eyepiece is 7-45X. This is because what you see through the camera is only corrected by the microscope's optics, whereas with the eyepiece it is corrected by the microscope itself in addition to the optics. This can be corrected plus or minus by using the appropriate lenses available in our other rods.
