A 5 piece malachite parrot cordial set with tray, silver on copper made in the Taxco region of Mexico by Emilia Castillo
Mid century Circa 1940- 1960
The intricate design features malachite inlaid Parrots they are all in absolutely excellent condition with no chips breaks or cracks
One of the cordial cups leans very slightly to the right which is noted for accuracy not obvious or objectionable
The set has absolutely no markings on it which after we did a little more research means that this was typical for early production
Each cordial measures approximately 4.5” tall
and the Tray measures 8” x 12”
we have not polished the set
it still has the original patina
