Condition is as follows;

Item has never been removed from packaging, as per photos it still sits at the front of the item not removed. Top of packaging has been cut a little bit, the packaging has never been pulled to the side to open and remove tamagotchi. The seal inside the Tamagotchi to start it has never been pulled, therefore item has never been used. The Tamagotchi is red and shaders of pink on the buttons, with a design of flowers & pineapple. Instruction manual has never been opened as per photos. It can be removed from the packaging as per photos as it sits at the top of the item and can be pulled out. The item is from 2004/06 and as referenced has never had the seal removed to begin playing, however, as it is untested it may require new batteries given the age & fact they have never been used. Stored inside under a bed, no damage to the item apart from packaging as describe. Rare & collectible so a great buy for someone with a passion for it. Any other questions please ask
