OLD TOWN Clothing, Holt, Norfolk, Vauxhall Trousers, Tan Cotton Canvas, 30" x 30"

Since the recent closure of OLD TOWN CLOTHING in Holt, North Norfolk, these highly sought after, traditional, yet contemporary, and exceptionally well made items are now rarely available. The attention to detail is exceptional.

OLD TOWN produced around seventy made to order garments per week from their own workshop using British cottons, woollens and linens wherever possible.

With regard to the design the aim was for simplicity and restraint with minimal styling, letting the construction influence the look. References were made to 20th century British workwear - with contemporary relevance.

Items were individually cut, sewn and finished. The process took about 4-6 weeks.

100% strong cotton canvas in tan, with a pleasing textured weave
hand made in Norfolk, UK
straight leg, tapering slightly towards the hem
button fly, waist adjuster to rear and belt loops
fishtail back
attachment buttons front and back for braces
colour variance is due to light, the dark colour is the correct shade of tan
