Vintage framed Last Supper relief plaque after the famous painting by Leonardo da Vinci. The sculptural plaque is signed G. Ruggeri, attributed to people, known for producing decorative religious plaques exported from Italy during the mid-20th century.
The scene features Christ and the apostles seated at the table with detailed three-dimensional carving and architectural background elements. The material has an ivory-tone finish and appears to be cast resin/composition designed to resemble carved ivory.
The relief is mounted in a large black wall frame with hanging rings on the back for easy display.
