This historically styled piece measures approximately 55 inches long and weighs about 5.4 pounds making it an excellent display piece for history enthusiasts collectors re-enactors and prop makers.
The design faithfully represents the British Pattern 1853 Enfield rifled musket which was widely used during the American Civil War era. The original Pattern 1853 Enfield rifle-musket was the second most widely used infantry weapon in the Civil War and saw service with both Union and Confederate forces at many major battles due to its reliability accuracy and ease of loading with rifled ammunition. It became especially valued by Confederate units importing the arm through blockade runners and private contracts. This non-firing replica is ideal for historical displays theatrical productions or as part of a curated collection.
