This is an original pair of M56 Universal small arms pouches. These are Vietnam era originals. I was able to match up the manufacturer stamps under the flap but they were too faded to get the dates. These are what the US soldiers used in Vietnam to carry their ammunition magazines in. They are showing heavy use and wear and have a great faded patina. Both have the belt clips. One looks to have had the US inked back on at one time and one is thread bare on the lower corners (see pictures) Don't miss a great pair for your collection or reenactor use.
