For sale, a Sony PRS-505 ebook reader. A nice example of upper-end ebook reader design from the early 2010's, with a fetching metal construction.

All buttons are working, the SD card slot is working, and the screen is in great cosmetic condition. The Sony Memory Stick slot has not been tested. The headphone port has not been tested.

The box and case are in an acceptable used condition. The box contains all original inclusions, and the e-reader can be charged from any computer using the included USB Mini-B cable (please note, once the battery is fully depleted, charging is only possible via the barrel jack using an appropriate cable (i.e. a three pound PSP-1000 USB-to-barrel charger). The e-reader warns of this well in advance.

The device does still run on battery, which appears to be the original. Testing shows the display can cycle around 500-600 pages (around 30 Hungry Caterpillars, or around one Great Gatsby) between charges - far below original specifications, but certainly suitable as a bedside ebook reader. Batteries are available on eBay for around ten to fifteen pounds, however this would be at the buyer's own risk.

Returns are permitted for up to 14 days for any reason, at the buyer's expense, provided the item is in the same working condition upon receipt.
