A really high quality CD player/recorder from a top flight manufacturer. These “stable platter” machines, rather unusually, load with the disc label down, on a deep tray designed to eliminate vibrations. Its sound quality would embarrass a lot of modern machines. I would describe it as quite forward, with a wonderfully transparent midrange. Using its own internal DAC is great but you can also use it as a dedicated transport as there are coaxial and optical outputs.
One owner from new til I inherited it. And it’s in really extraordinary condition - it was very grubby but half an hour with a bit of glass cleaner and it’s almost mint.
Only selling as I keep acquiring more players and I really don’t need another. NOTE I have not tested the recording capability but if it plays well I imagine it’ll record too.
