Stratocaster-style 2 piece neck with 21 frets.

This is a Stratocaster-style flamed maple neck from my own workshop.  It
is a 2 piece construction with a 2-way truss rod, adjusted at the heel with a
spoke wheel which can be removed if you don’t want to alter your guitar body to
accommodate it. It is a push fit onto the hexagonal stud at the end of the
truss rod.  If you do remove it the spoke
wheel can still be used as a tool to adjust the truss rod - so you have the
best of both worlds.  Heel dimensions are
to standard Fender specifications so the neck will fit into any S Style neck
pocket without any extra work.The maple is fairly striking with an interesting flamed effect.  I have
tried to show this in the pictures.

The fretboard is a flamed maple piece, with a 9.5” radius.

The 21 frets are Jescar nickel silver 51100 which I suppose equate to medium
jumbo (actual dimensions .051” x .100”).  I consider Jescar make some of
the finest fret wire available.  The frets are properly levelled, dressed
and polished.  The position dots are 8mm walnut inserts which seem to suggest a compromise between dark clay dots and the more common mother of pearl or abalone.  Tuner
holes are 10mm for modern tuners.  The neck is a “C” profile.

The finish on the maple is many coats of hand-applied Tru Oil (over a very
light vintage amber stain) which has been buffed to a gloss.  This gives a very durable finish which is
easy to keep clean and feels very comfortable in the hand.  The final finish is a wax coat which will make for a very easy neck to play.

The nut is bone.  Nut width is 43mm. 
No string slots have been fully cut in it but the slots have been
started and just need final filing to the right depth for your strings before
final finishing.  The nut is not glued in but if you want me to do that
just let me know.I am open to sensible offers.
