Set of 3 vintage bent plywood stacking chairs in the style of Arne Jacobsen's iconic Ant chair. These are honest 1960s copies made in Taiwan, not original Fritz Hansen pieces, and are priced and sold accordingly.
The shaped plywood seats and backs have aged into a warm, mellow tone with natural patina. The four-leg tubular metal bases are stable and structurally sound. All three chairs stack neatly when not in use.
Dimensions (each chair, approximate): H 78 x W 40 x D 45 cm, seat height 44 cm.
Some surface wear and small marks consistent with sixty-plus years of use, one chair has a more noticeable mark on the seat, photographed on the last image. A practical and visually striking set, ideal for a kitchen, dining room or studio where the Jacobsen silhouette is the goal at a fraction of an original's cost.
