An original group of an Iron Cross 2nd class with its field Vorläufiges Besitz-Zeugnis (preliminary certificate of award / possession) for the Iron Cross 2nd class.The medal was awarded to Hauptmann Richter of the 8. Konigliches Landsturm Inf Regt 3.
The
Iron Cross was awarded on the 14th August 1915. Also included is a post card of
Beerdigung Deutscher Offiziere und Mannschaften auf dem Ehrenfriedhofe (Burial of
German officers and men in the Ehrenfriedhofe).
It should be possible to carry out some research.
