Crafted in 2007 to commemorate the 400th anniversary of the historic 1607 voyage from London to Jamestown, Virginia, this exquisite limited edition writing instrument pays tribute to a pivotal moment in American history.

Encircling the cap are finely sculpted low-relief depictions of the three iconic ships—Susan Constant, Godspeed, and Discovery—accented with detailed rope bands and flowing banners inscribed with each vessel’s name. One ribbon bears the engraving: "America's 400th Anniversary" along with the dates "1607 - 2007."

The barrel showcases intricate illustrations of the fleet, inspired by period sail-maker sketches, each framed within rope-edged cartouches. Nautical elements such as a sextant, cannon, and ship’s wheel adorn the lower barrel, enhancing the maritime theme.

Crowning this remarkable design is a compass rose at the end of the barrel. Each pen is individually hand-finished using the ancient lost wax casting technique—an art dating back 400 years to the very era of the voyage
