Brand new in box LEGO Harry Potter set 4757: Hogwarts Castle from 2004. This is the 2nd Hogwarts Castle they ever made and was released to coincide with the upcoming Prisoner Of Azkaban film.
The film was a bit darker than its predecessors and so, inspired much less toy merchandise sales than the two previous films. On top of that, LEGO at the time was in dire straits, their sets overall just selling poorly across the board. Ultimately that lead to both the 2004 Prisoner of Azkaban sets and the 2005 Goblet of Fire sets being poor sellers. While the Goblet of Fire sets are slightly more sought after, these Prisoner of Azkaban sets are still rather uncommon, especially the bigger sets of the wave such as this one.
I was fortunate enough to acquire this one and a number of other sealed vintage HP sets some 5 years back. I vowed to myself that I'd build them some day but the very idea was always somewhat intimidating. Time passed on and eventually I ended up selling every other set I had acquired outside of this one (and one other which I personally never intend to sell). Enough time has passed now that I feel this should go on to someone who would derive much greater enjoyment from it than I ever did.
The box is in good shape but it most certainly has acquired some shelf wear whilst under my possession. If you desire any particular pics of any particular point on the box, do not hesitate to ask as I would be more than happy to oblige.
