• Glass Fountain Inkwell

• Igloo, Snail or Turtle, 12 sided dome

• Covill #1297

• Color: Crystal; Clear

• Antique Glass c. mid-late 19th C

• Measurements: 4 3/8" by 2 3/4" at the base and 2 1/2" high

• Weight, prepackaged: 8.1 oz

• Condition: The rim has a short crack on the igloo side, likely from the manufacturing process. The inkwell rim is ground and has a few tiny fleabites, likely from the grinding process. The interior bottom has some light dust and detritus, but no staining or residue. The glass is clear and free of cloudiness with a nice apple green glow under UV light. It's a great piece and certainly of US origin.
