(1) The Mr. Mike DOES power on with 4 C batteries. Works great with batteries! Tested and Working. (Batteries not included) I don't have the DC power cord for the wall so I haven't tested that. If the batteries work though I believe a power cord will work. You can probably find a power cord on Amazon or ebay. (DC power cord not included)
(2) The Microphone / PA System DOES work. Microphone WORKS and you can hear your voice clearly.
(3) The Mr. Mike DOES play cassette tapes. Tested and Working. Play, forward, rewind and eject. Whether it will record cassettes, is undetermined. (I don't have a blank tape to test. Might be testing some time in the next few weeks when I get a blank or junk tape to record over)
(4) The radio DOES work. AM and FM Radio WORKS but you need to play with the switch a little. THE GREEN SWITCH NEEDS TO BE IN THE PERFECT SPOT FOR AM AND FM TO WORK. (It takes a couple clicks back and forth to get it in the right spot but I've been able to get the radio on every time and it stays on.)
(5) Clean battery compartment. No corrosion at all, looks great! Batteries not in during all these years of storage.
(6) Headphone jack DOES work. Tested and Working.
Small crack in the handle on the back side but still structurally in good shape and solid handle. Doesn't flex or open up when you use the handle.
Very clean but SLIGHTLY off white color due to age. Not bad though still looks great.
So to summarize everything above, this is fully working and functional. Everything works, radio, cassette player, microphone, headphone jack and battery compartment. Just the AM/FM Radio takes a second to turn on. As long as you get the switch on the side just right it will turn on and stay on. Works for me every time. Haven't checked the cassette recording and don't have the DC power cord so I haven't check that. I'm almost 100% certain a power cord will work, everything else does so that should. Ever so slightly off white now over time and light wear outside. Thank you for checking it out.
