Designed with the sonic goal of achieving the high resolution and lifelike realism associated with the Goodman AXIOM-80 and Quad ESL, the SF-875 employs a field coil drive system that delivers extremely high magnetic flux density—approximately 18,000 Gauss at DC 20V and over 20,000 Gauss at DC 24V (the maker's recommended operating voltage). The diaphragm uses Japanese washi paper impregnated with urushi (Japanese lacquer)-based dye, contributing to the driver's exceptional transient response.
