상품 설명
I'm selling a pedigree Viner track bike that has been fully converted for the road.
Viner was a massive Italian road brand and provided bikes for lots of the big teams like Mapei.
It has a Shimano brake and road wheels with a 'flip flop' hub on the rear wheel. On the hub you have both a fixed wheel cog for Fixie fans and a single speed freewheel sprocket. It's currently on the freewheel option, but just undo the wheel bolt, turn the wheel around and 'Hey Presto' it's a Fixie! I'll include a spanner if you want it.
This Viner Super Light S.C Pista 54cm bike is from 2010 and was Team Issued to my son as part of an Under 16 sponsored squad. When the sponsorship finished in 2012 he wanted to keep the track bike because it was so responsive and we bought it from Viner.
Later when he had given up competitive cycling he thought it would make a great single speed road bike but although it cost me quite a bit to convert, he never actually rode it on the road. So all of its miles (only a few hundred) have been restricted to the Manchester and Newport velodromes and it has never seen a road! Since 2013 it's been in a dry shed and only taken down for a clean and oil!
There are a couple of chips to the paintwork but they were as a result of careless handling rather than a crash!
Here's the spec:
Viner Super Light S.C Pista 54cm (top tube centre - centre) frame. Handmade from Dedacciai 7005 competition aluminium.
Miche Primate Advanced Track 49T chainset with 170mm cranks. Fixed wheel cog and Singlespeed freewheel sprocket are both 15T.
Weinmann DP18 Ultimate Power wheels with Vittoria Rubino 25c tyres
Deda Quattro 2 stem - 110mm
Deda RHM handlebar - 420mm outside to outside
Deda seatpost
FSA headset
Columbus carbon forks
Shimano 105 brake lever, Shimano Ultegra brake
Speedo magnesium thrust pedals (compatible with Look cleats)
San Marco saddle (a bit battered and a veteran of many races, not sure what happened to the saddle that originally came with the bike!)
As a rough guide, I would say the bike would suit someone around around 5'6" - 5'9", maybe 5'10". My son was 5'8" at the time.
It's collection only and I'm happy to take cash on collection if you prefer.
Check my feedback and bid with confidence. If you have any questions please ask.
