Unlike later USMC IBAs, this one lacks a full MOLLE backing. These were seen during the Invasion of Iraq, and subsequent operations such as the Battles of Fallujah and Ramadi (1/7 and 3/4 Marines are noted for their use of these).
These vests are becoming increasingly hard to find.
