The watch features a white double-sunk enamel dial signed Illinois, bold black Arabic numerals, blued steel hands, and a subsidiary seconds register at 6 o’clock.

The open-face case has an ornate engraved back with floral and architectural decoration. The interior is marked:

Condition description

Pre-owned antique condition with substantial age and handling wear. The gold-filled case shows noticeable brassing, plating loss, discoloration, tarnish, scratches, scuffs, and general surface wear. The engraved back remains attractive and clearly visible but has wear and darkened areas.

The inner case cover has extensive scratches, tarnish, discoloration, and old watchmaker markings. The enamel dial has visible hairlines, small marks, and age-related discoloration. The crystal shows surface wear. The movement has light scratches, staining, and oxidation consistent with age.

The watch runs when wound but has not been serviced or tested for accuracy, duration, or long-term reliability. Please review all photographs carefully, as they are an important part of the condition description. Sold as an antique mechanical watch as shown.
