Roberts RMB Vintage Valve Radio.Working Order.

Classic 1950s Roberts battery/mains portable radio.

Looks black in the pictures but it is dark navy blue in colour.

Looks great with the front flap open.

Covers MW/LW/SW.

Stations received on MW and LW .SW gave no results ,Maybe needs an aerial ?

Therefore can’t confirm it works on SW.

Some restoration has been done including new capacitors and mains lead.

As with any vintage mains powered device it needs to be checked by a suitably qualified engineer before use.

Does not meet modern safety standards.Should be powered via an isolating transformer .

Has not been tested on batteries as one pin on the connector is damaged.
