상품 설명

Quad II power amplifiers (pair) and 22 pre-amplifier / control unit - complete set

Complete with full set of valves, plugs and leads.

Cosmetic:
Good but marked cosmetic condition, power amps could do with a deep clean.

Technical:
Untested (except for the power amp valves).
This set has not been used for over 10 years, so please assume that it needs a service prior to regular use.
Everything appears original and correct.
One power amp has been back to Quad in 1987 (see pic with label).

The Quad II valves on both power amps are all tested on our Sencore TC142 Tuber Checker (this gives basic functionality only). Each valve tests very good emissions and no leakages except for one clear KT66 that tests poor emissions. So it is safe to assume that only the one clear KT66 needs replacing.
