Here we have a 1996 Trek 820 Mountain Track, size 18", constructed of Tig-welded Chromoly, in one of the more unusual colorways, Dry Titanium to Dry Slate Green fade. In fact it's only the second one I've ever re-homed in this color.
Don't have a ton of history on this one, I acquired it long ago, just now getting around to list it. Most of the finish is in good shape, especially the green parts. The titanium colored bits toward the front third of the frame show the most in the way of marks and scrapes. The right fork leg has quite a few, clearly storage damage, as does the top tube, especially on the right side. I see a bit of cable rub on the head tube. The head badge is a little worn. The right side rear seat stay also has some scratches. Decals are clear, bright and mostly intact. There was a kickstand installed, but the only real paint damage is on the underside of the seat stays near the bottom bracket. The chainstay protector did its job and kept things nice and tidy. I don't see any chainsuck either, which is nice for a change!
There is 100/135mm spacing of course, and a 26.6 mm seatpost is needed (I should have one in stock, and yes I combine shipping). Top tube looks to be about 21.5". The threaded headset is 1".
This is a neat little frame in a very unusual colorway and pretty good condition. It's ready to be your next build. Scoop it up ... RIGHT NOW!

I take great pride in the way I pack frames for shipment. I have to use new cardboard boxes from Amazon ($12-$15 each) because my local bike shops can't always provide me with boxes in the sizes I need. Smaller frames ship with forks removed (if present), rear triangle blocked with wood, and lots, lots, LOTS of crumpled up newspaper to ensure the frame doesn't move around inside. Larger frames also ship with the rear triangle blocked with wood, and with any fork still attached. I use cardboard bracing in several key spots (front and rear brake bosses, bottom bracket, rear dropouts) along with heavy-duty zip ties to ensure the frame does not move around once the box is closed. The process is tedious but the results are worth it, as my past customers will attest!
