The quick release coupler has a 1/8 BSP male threaded section which screws directly into the 1/8 BSP female connector on your air hose.
1/8 BSP is sometimes referred to as 1/8" - this is not acurate as the actual diameter is approx 9.35 mm.
1/8 BSP is the type and size of thread which is common to the most popular airbrushes and air hoses.
The quick release coupler has a 1/8 BSP female connector which screws onto the 1/8 BSP male air inlet thread of your airbrush.
This 1/8 BSP connector is push fitted into the quick release coupler and released by pulling a spring loaded collar, on the coupler, back.
The air flow is also automatically cut off when the connector is released.
This will allow you to complete a quick change of your airbrush whilst still using the same air hose.
