Brimar 12AX7/ECC83 Vacuum Tube/Valve - 1951 Long Black Plate - Square Getter. AVO tested strong and balanced.
1st week of June 1951 in the Footscray STC plant in the UK. This is also the more desirable first version 12AX7 valves from Brimar with copper grid posts, black plates and a single hole punch in the anode plates half way up.
Tested on a recently calibrated AVO VCM 160 with the following results;
IA GM
Valve 1: A1 1.0 1.6
A2 1.1 1.8
AVO NOS Specs: IA = 1.2 GM = 1.6
