This is my Sony CDP-101, the first ever CD player ! I have owned this from new, bought from Lasky's Tottenham Court Road in 1983 and cost me £800 then !

Its in incredible condition as has always been in a closed glass cabinet so pretty much like new.

I don't have the remote or manual, lost a long time ago during house moves I would expect.

There is also a youtube link below showing it working.

I would really prefer collection from Harlow Essex on this as sending I cannot guarantee it will arrive in the condition I would send it in, carriers just throw stuff around and even with good packing its taking a big chance on a cracking bit of kit.

I have not seen one fully working in this condition for a long time, plenty of non-working ones for sale but not many working 🙂

If I was to send it would be all at your own risk, I will accept no comebacks or complaints about damage or no longer working, I can pack well but its a gamble as its very heavy at 7.6 kg (16.75 lbs).

Cost to send will be high due to weight and size of box.

Video looks like track skipping, its not it was me pressing the fast forward buttons as you have two speeds forward and back !

NOTE : I will only send if you confirm in writing via message that you take reasonability if it gets damaged or broken in transit and will not look at me to forfeit my sale and ask for a refund, unless in writing i will not send, sorry to impose this condition but not prepared to loose money on this because of idiot carriers, this is why i prefer collection, i am however prepared to drive 20miles from Harlow to meet up if that helps, but i wont drive into London or through London to get to the destination.
