For sale is a used Pentacon Auto 29mm f/2.8 multi-coated wide angle prime lens in M42 screw mount, made in East Germany (German Democratic Republic).

The Pentacon 29mm f/2.8 is a wide angle prime lens produced in East Germany and is well regarded among vintage lens enthusiasts for its solid construction and capable optics. The 29mm focal length gives a useful wide angle field of view, making it popular for street photography, landscape, and environmental portraiture. Being in M42 screw mount — the most universally adaptable vintage mount — it can be used on an enormous range of cameras with an inexpensive adapter.

Used. Aperture operates correctly and blades are clean. Focus ring is smooth throughout its range. A tiny amount of fungus is visible at the very edge of the rear element only — this is at the periphery of the image circle and is unlikely to affect image quality in normal use. No fungus on the front element. No scratches observed on either element. Please study all photos carefully before purchasing.
