Vintage antique amazing mechanical number stamp
Remarkable steel and brass mechanical number stamp. The stamp can be set to consecutive numbering, or remain on the same number. The ink pad and holder is easily removable, via a spring loaded knob, for recharging with ink or long term storage. You can set the digits to any starting number using a pointed bamboo barbecue stick to click the wheels around. Original old wooden storage box included. No makers mark. Working.

When not in use keep the ink pad in a small polythene bag to prevent drying out. To replace the pad use a piece of thick felt about 4mm thick, spot glue it in place and recharge with ink, or just cut one to size from an existing office ink pad. Sample stamped numbers shown.
