USA 1979 WX265, Full Pane of 54 "Children's Art" Christmas Seals OG XF MNH

**Note slight gum discolouration**

Issued by the American Lung Association

Please handle with extreme care. These seals and other from this era, with very narrow edges are prone to detached perforations and, if gummed, have a tendency to curl.

For ease of shipping and to minimize costs, these seals will be carefully folded and shipped in a standard sized envelope. For larger orders requiring tracking they will be shipped, at the discretion of the seller, in an oversized envelope.

NOTE Re: Christmas Seals

From 1907-1919, Christmas Seals were issued by the American Red Cross From 1920-1967, they were issued by the National Tuberculosis Association From 1968-1972, they were issued by the National Tuberculosis and Respiratory Disease Association From 1973-Present, they were issued by the American Lung Association

While Christmas Seals are not actual postage stamps, they are often collected together with postage stamps. Afterall, they were meant to be used with letters and packages as a way to add Christmas cheer and as a wonderful way for charities to raise funds for their worthy causes.
