JVC A-X50 Vintage 1980s Amplifier Amp Phono Stage

This amplifier is in good condition and working order. As you would expect from a JVC 1980's amplifier the design, build quality and choice of components is excellent. It has a built in phono preamp so can easily be used with a vintage turntable.

One small issue is that the loudness control circuit (increases bass at low volume) was faulty on one channel. Due to non availability of parts the loudness function has been disconnected. All other functions including the graphic equaliser and bar graph display are perfect and the amplifier sounds great

For peace of mind a 3 month return to base warranty is included.

The front fascia is in good condition with a few marks and scratches; also to the outer casing but nothing really bad. Please take time to check all the photos as they are considered to be part of the description.

The amplifier has been checked over and serviced by a audio service engineer who has been repairing / servicing audio equipment full time for the past 40 years. If needed once purchased free technical assistance would be available for this item by telephone.

Item is located in Hither Green South east London SE13. Four minutes’ walk from Hither Green over ground railway station which is easily reached from Charing Cross and London Bridge railway stations. The last stop/end (bus stop A, Hither Green Station) of the 225 Bus route is 20 seconds from my shop door. If collecting by train/bus once demonstrated the item would be bubble wrapped and pallet wrapped for safe transportation.

I am happy to accept a return on this item within 1 week if any buyer is in any way unhappy with their purchase. Item would have to be returned in the condition it was received. A full cash refund would be given on its return.
