AMPEX 25W 6L6 Tube Monoblock Amplifier Pair – Rare High-Power – Tested

Rare matched pair of original AMPEX 25W 6L6 tube monoblock amplifiers removed from a Crescendo console. The amplifiers were tested in the console and produced very good sound with no audible hum (see video). Please note: the audio in the video reflects the broadcast playing at the time; the tuner was fixed to one station during testing. These amplifiers have not been bench tested or serviced and may require updating (such as capacitors) to achieve full long-term reliability, which is typical for vintage tube equipment. All transformers appear original and intact. Cosmetically, they are in good condition with some light staining on the chassis consistent with age. The tubes were tested using a Hickok TV-7/U tube tester; results are shown in the listing description below. The final two photos showing the schematic and specifications are provided for reference only and are not included with the sale. Please review all photos carefully as they are part of the description.
