It was characterized by its slender fuselage shape, an advanced wing structure and the associated excellent gliding performance.
Even before the Second World War, she attracted attention at national and international competitions and set several records.
With the beginning of the war, production largely came to a standstill, but was able to resume on a smaller scale after 1945.
Some surviving examples can be admired today in museums and at historical flying days and testify to their technical influence on gliding.
This aircraft is a wonderful glider for beautiful hours of flying in the summer twilight (GOE613 profile).
