I am selling my beloved BMC time trial bike as I simply don't ride it enough to justify keeping it :-(
I bought this from a colleague at work about 8 years ago as I intended to use it for triathlons, but sadly the combination of kids and the pandemic meant I've never raced it and it's now been over two years since I last even rode it. So I feel it's time to say goodbye.
It truly is an awesome bike and even though it's now just over 10 years old, it's still in good condition and is relatively low mileage - I think I've probably only put a few hundred kms on it in the time I've owned it. Instead it's been stored safe and dry in our dining room, much to my wife's delight.
It is a Medium-Long size frame. I am 5' 11.5" and usually ride a 56cm frame bike. The guy I bought it off was a bit taller so had added some extension pieces to the stem. I still have a box of various unused stem pieces so you could adjust it further to fit you.
The spec is:
- Frame: BMC Time Machine TM01 - Medium Long
- Shifters, derailleurs: Shimano Dura-Ace Di2
- Crankset: Shimano Dura-Ace
- Casette: Shimano Dura-Ace 10 speed
- Cockpit: 3T aerobars and handlebars
- Brakes: Rim brakes with Shimano Dura-Ace levers
- Wheels: Roval CLX64 Rapide with ceramic hubs
- Pedals: Shimano PD-R8000
- Saddle: Fabric Tri Flat Eilte
Also included is a Scicon saddle bag, Elite Vico carbon bottle cage, and the charger for the Di2 battery.
Only issues to note are:
- The left aerobar shifter doesn't work (but the left handlebar shifter does work). It was like this when I bought it but I never investigated why. The guy I bought it off told me it was likely just a wiring issue. It hasn't bothered me much as obviously you don't shift the front ring very often and when I do need to it's easy to come off the aerobar briefly.
- There are also some scratches and scrapes in a few places - but nothing major.
