Previous owners name Dennis R Peters (my father) is engraved on the back with the month, date and year. It appears that there is a clear type label on the back of the watch. The clear label appears to be a watch screen cover or glass cover from the front. Looks like that label was moved from the front to the back of the watch. You’ll see some dark marks over the engraving of the name. Those dark marks are the glue coming from with clear label, most likely due to its age. The clear label needs to come off the back and be wiped cleaned. I didn’t remove it. I left the watch as I found it in this box.
