The Nakamichi RX-202 offers high-quality sound often compared to the BX-150, but with superior, reliable auto tape flipping mechanics and a "cool factor" in look and feel often featured in media. The RX-202 also being praised for producing clean, balanced, and high-fidelity sound, often outperforming many decks from other brands.

The RX-202 transport features UDAR, Nakamichi's Unique uni-Directional Auto-Reverse mechanism, eliminating the azimuth error loss of conventional auto-reverse decks. Thanks to UDAR, the head and tape path are perfectly optimized and critically aligned in magnetic azimuth in both direction. Technical Notes -------------------------------------------------------------

The cassette deck is in good cosmetic condition but shown signs of previous usage such as hairline scratches, small dings, peel off stickers, stain spots, faded out numbers, worn-out corners and edges. Photos are part of descriptions. Please check listing photos for details.

The internal electronics circuit is in original condition. No signs of previous repair or modification. The unit also has been fully inspected and tested by a technician before anti-tamper stickers were placed. Serial number also has been recorded.

The listing is for tape deck unit and owner manual only. NO remote, No tape, No Cassette, No Headphone, No cable, No other accessories included.

Play head and all metal on tape path are demagnetize, cleaned and tested for tape tracking and reading. All transport belts was inspected and is in working condition. All dials, toggle switches, buttons, indicator lights, all inputs and outputs are tested.

The wow and flutter has been re-calibrated to factory specs on a Meguro MK-668 machine and test play for a couple hours. But please note that depending on the age and quality of your cassette, the play back speed might be fluctuated as in most legacy analog media.

Forward, Rewind, Play and Record cassette tape from line input and microphone are tested. Sound output is crisp and strong on both line output and headphone.
