Original Grey Emu SP1200 Sampling Drum Machine SP-1200 e mu vintage with sounds

Up for sale is my original grey E-mu SP-1200, one of the most legendary drum machines and samplers ever produced. I am a professional sound designer for Kid Nepro Productions, and this machine has been an important part of my studio for years. It has been used to create a large custom 150-disk original sound library, which is included in this sale.

The SP-1200 is widely known for its unmistakable 12-bit sound, gritty character, and classic workflow that helped define hip-hop and electronic music production throughout the late 80s and 90s. This particular unit has been carefully maintained and remains in good working condition.

Condition & History

I have owned this machine for many years and it has always been treated with care. The unit has spent its entire life stored in a protective hard case in a smoke-free environment when not in use. It has never been exposed to studio abuse or touring conditions.

The floppy disk drive was replaced during my ownership to ensure reliable loading and saving of sounds and sequences. It operates properly and reads the included disks.

The LCD display is not 100% perfect, which is common for SP-1200 units of this age, but it is still functional and readable, allowing normal operation of the machine.
