Description:
Up for sale is a legendary, Swiss-made Revox G36 open-reel tape recorder from the mid-1960s. This is the highly sought-after, final all-tube model Revox ever made, famous among audiophiles for its warm, natural analog sound.
This is a highly desirable Mark III version (Serial Number #69432 stamped on the top chassis). It was originally purchased from a local audiophile and comes housed in its rare, original vintage wooden case.
Current Functionality & Condition:
* Power: Unit powers on successfully.
* Tubes: All 12 vacuum tubes glow properly.
* Audio: Sound comes out of the built-in monitor speaker.
* Mechanical: All parts spin, and the control buttons work.
* Cosmetic: Housed in its original vintage wooden case (see photos for condition).
