Selling my much loved Saab. This car has had many upgrades over the past six years I have owned it, It started as a standard SE convertible and has come a long way since.
Handling Modifications include: Steering rack clamp and brace fitted (essential on these early 9-3s), 6 point subframe brace fitted, double rear anti roll bar, poly bushed front arms, lowering springs all round, 308mm front brake discs and ferrodo pads fitted.
Performance modifications include: TD04 turbo fitted, maptun recirculating valve, 3” down pipe with sports cat and custom exhaust fitted. This has allowed the engine to be remapped to 270hp and 380nm.
Other modifications and upgrades include the full aero/viggen bodykit, aero interior and aero wheels.
Despite the mileage, the original black paint was in very bad condition so the decision was made to paint the car a different colour. This is not a professional bodyshop job and is far from perfect. I have done my best to show this in the pictures. Other bad points include the SID speaker needs replacing, the drivers seat does not recline with the switch but does with the handle, there are also a few age marks on the interior and round the car. Despite this, the car is excellent fun to drive with the extra power and the option to drop the roof down. I have thoroughly enjoyed this car however I hardly use it anymore, its a shame to keep it in the garage not being used therefore I think its time for someone else to use the car and love it. MOT due June 2027, any servicing is done by myself and will provide receipts for this and other maintenance work I have completed in my ownership. I have always garaged the car and never used it in the winter, just used as a summer weekend car.
