1 X Murphy 10” field coil speaker from a working console. 1930s model very rare!
Please check the photos and see the condition some corrosion and dust to the metal work, External wires are old and will need changing, various tap solder points under the cover.
The cone is attractive, very nice and clean, no rips, no rubbing has original dust bag which has preserved the speaker well.
Very sought after by HIFI enthusiasts for the clean powerful sound of this speaker ideal for DIY horn speaker, very well made and built to last this model is almost 100 years old!
Meter readings as shown to the coil and the field coil - You will need a suitable DC power supply to power the 'Field' coil which energises the magnet. There is plently of information and examples on google on how to work this out from the DC resistance shown.

Packing - I Pack items how i would like to receive them, speaker drivers and fragile items are first wrapped in strong card then boxed again with soft internal packaging between the item and the outer box.I always use recycled packaging to help the enviroment.
