The Alnico 8" CELESTION ROLA UK 5W loudspeaker with incorporated output transformer is a vintage piece from the early 1960s, suitable for a range of guitar types including Cigar Box, Lap & Pedal Steel, Resonator, Acoustic Electric, Bass, and Electric Guitar. Made in the United Kingdom, it is compatible with brands such as Jensen, Celestion, Goodmans, and Elac. With a power output of 5W and a db rating of 95+, this loudspeaker can handle up to 10 watts of short-term peak power and offers a combined speaker DC output resistance of 3 Ohms. Ideal for studio practice or performance venues, this Alnico magnet speaker is a classic addition to any guitarist's setup.

Paper cone - 4 Ohm impedance, 5 watt RMS

Short term Absolute peak power rating = 10 Watt

Bezel / rim = 8" / 205mm

Weight = 1.5 Kg

Impedance 4Ω / measured DC resistance respective: 3 Ohm

Suspension for High dynamic purpose

Basket mounted Output transformer, measured DC input / primary resistance = 580 Ohm. Measured secondary with speaker coil connected = 3 Ohm

To be Used with a Single Ended output stage: EL84, ECL82, ECL86. 6V6, EL95, 6F6 etc.

Single ended triode configured 6L6 / 6L6G / KT66 / EL34

(if used with S.E. Triode config. EL34, then output needs to be attenuated)

Tested and in correct working order.

Overall good condition, Storage and Age related / User marks etc.

Medium cone resistance, Ideal in combination with a small type all valve / Tube guitar combo project such as: an early small Selmer type amp, Gibson GA5 or Fender Champ (5E1, 5F1, 5B1, 5C1), Valco combo project, small Wem type diy projects etc.
