For sale is this large, heavy vintage Murphy A48 valve radio from the late 1930s.
It looks like it is pretty much untouched internally and externally, although it is likely had some repair over the years, maybe a valve change.
I think the tuning knob should turn a scroll with the channel names (which is a bit faded) but it does not.
I have not applied power and can not confirm or otherwise its operability.
What I can see of the loudspeaker looks OK. It still has its inner covering.
It weighs 16kg and measures 47cm (w) x 50cm (h) x 32cm (d) and is obviously a fragile item so COLLECTION ONLY from Colwyn Bay.
A great restoration project for an enthusiast.
