Listed is a customised Elphaba Barbie doll from 2018
This version released to commemorate Wicked's 15th Anniversary on stage
The original doll's outfit features many amplifications and new additions:
The Bodice
*The bodice is fully-encrusted with rhinestones and Swarovski gems, reflecting the elemental/earth inspiration behind the original stage costume
The bodice also features:
*Extended front section
*Added hanging cord details ,reflecting the distress detail of the stage costume
*Gathered net ruffle details added to neckline, sleeve cuffs & side bust seam
Skirt & Capes
*The skirt has been fully bedazzled in 100s of different size black rhinestones
* The costume features 3 individual split back capes, custom created just for the doll and fully lined.They're made up of 2 black textured layers, with one longer red-black layer
Hair & Accessories
*Real fabric hat, made from lame and custom made just for the doll.
The brim bent to reflect Elphaba's distinctive stage hat
*Real material broom, custom made just for this doll
It has a carved wooden base, green vinyl binding and actual twigs used for broom-making
*Hair has been re-styled into a multi-braided up-do.
*New boots and fishnet tights have also been added
*Elegant replacement hands added with purple nail paint
Original face-paint and rooting remain.
The outfit has been sewn onto the doll, and can not be removed.
Due to the hand-work gone into embellishment, gemstone shedding may occur.
