Thanks for looking at this lovely Canon AE-1 with an FD 50mm f1.8 lens with original branded lens cap and branded strap.
The camera is fully working and has been tested with film (see pictures).
Pictures taken on Fomapan 400 developed by me in Rodinal (hence grain and contrast!)
The Light meter works, the camera winds and fires as expected at the right speeds. Films load and rewinds as expected. Frame counter works.
New light seals have been fitted
Viewfinder is clear
The camera body is in a really nice condition, some of the paint has aged and there is some brassing to be expected for a camera of this age.
The lens is free from fungus and haze and is clear. As expected there is a tiny amount of dust which is normal for a lens of this age and does not affect the quality of the image whatsoever. The aperture is snappy and the images sharp.

This camera is ready to go, just put in the film of your choice (adjust the iso) and off you go!
