Vintage Rare Carhartt J97 CRI Crimson Red Detroit Jacket XL USA Made Thrashed

This is it, the one everyone is looking for. It is a Carhartt J97CRI or J97 CRI Detroit Jacket in Crimson. Made in February 2001. I found this in a mini storage that I purchased. This mini storage belonged to a welder who worked on the pipeline. The story goes that the guys ex wife actually owned the locker and a lot of his stuff was in the unit. Once they split, he found another companion and the ex wife voluntarily forfeited the unit. I believe the story, because over half of the shirts had “Cheater” written in black marker across the back.

This jacket has the perfect amount of wear. Worn enough to have a good thrashed patina, but still very much wearable. The quilted liner does have the little balls that form with wear. There is no smoker smell or any bad smell whatsoever.
