*MODDED* TFT screen + recap SEGA Genesis Nomad bundle with rare oem battery pack

I started with a minty sega nomad. I disassembled, and cleaned the console, and I replaced the oem caps with ceramic ones (were possible there are still a few traditional caps but they are high quality and will last 15-20 years) that will last the lifetime of the unit. additionally I check and reflow solder on all common failure points like the charge port, and battery contacts etc. I also replaced the oem tr201 voltage regulator with a modern chip solution as a precaution due to it being a common point of failure.

in addition to the maintenance several mods were also done. i removed the old tired oem screen and replaced it with new modern 320x240 TFT LCD panel. This is a great budget screen option. Please note the aftermarket LCD panel is no longer contrast dimmable so the contrast wheel is no longer used, and the screen will always be ‘fully’ bright.

In addition to the nomad console its self i replaced the aging stock charger with a modern aftermarket one (if you prefer a used oem one im happy to substitute for this aftermarket charger) to prevent over powering the unit (older chargers voltage can creep higher as they age). A modern av cable is also included to allow tv hookup support and last but not least a rare oem aa battery pack in great shape is also included.

6 month warranty on repairs and parts barring physical damage. game pictured not included.
