상품 설명
This listing includes:
5 speed getrag 245
Flywheel
Driveshaft
Slave cylinder with hard line
Flywheel cover plate
E21 trans brace
E21 shifter assembly
I have removed these from a 1981 320is with 245k miles. The car was sitting for 10 years, but I was able to get it started and driving to confirm transmission condition.
I have a video I can send shifting through the gears, if interested. The transmission has a really nice gear engagement even with a really sloppy shifter. Going and up and down in gear was smooth with no grinding. I tested to about 40-45mph around town.
The transmission was absolutely covered in oil. I spent many hours cleaning it only to have it still look dirty. The fluid was at capacity (or maybe overfilled) and came out surprisingly clean. I have included a picture of the drain plug, please note the small amount of metal that came with it. I was pleasantly surprised to find so little metal on the plug.
I highly recommend replacing the input, output, and shift shaft seals. You will need to install new transmission fluid. All shift related bushing and rubber here need to be replaced.
The e21 is being parted out though most of the 2002 specific/desired parts are going into my 2002. I am installing an m20 so I can’t use this transmission.
If you are manual swapping an e21, I can pull the pedal assembly and include for an additional cost.
The driveshaft is in good shape. The center u-joint is great while the differential u joint is starting to catch and jump.
Please note, the metal shift carrier has a broken ear and will need to be repaired for a tight shifter.
Please message with any questions!
